Tillamook manages complex product records with multiple related components. However, the existing system lacked an efficient versioning process, making it difficult to create new product versions without modifying active production records.
The team needed a way to duplicate product specifications, maintain related information, and safely make changes before moving updates into production.
The challenge increased during a packaging update initiative involving more than 550 inventory items. Manually recreating each product record required approximately 30-45 minutes per item, making the process time-consuming and difficult to scale.

The team configured templates for different requirements:
New Version Creation:
Users can clone existing product records, update version-related details, and create separate copies for review and further modifications.
New Product Creation:
Similar products can be created by cloning existing records, updating unique identifiers, and modifying only the required differences.
Bulk Cloning:
Click2Clone enabled Tillamook to clone multiple records efficiently for large-scale updates. Inogic also provided an enhancement that allowed field updates during bulk cloning, helping manage required fields such as version and status.
