Introduction

The 2020 release of Wave 2 for Dynamics 365 brings new innovations that provide you with significant capabilities to transform your business. Microsoft enhanced some features in 2020 release wave 2 and made them user friendly and easy to access. .I have mentioned some of them below.

Switching the App

Wave 1 – By clicking on the down arrow icon next to Dynamics 365

Wave 2 – By clicking on App Name, a list of all Apps window gets opened

We can search apps, create a new app and assign roles.

Change in Navigation Bar

Wave 1 – If the user wants to come back to the accounts home grid then they are supposed to click on Account from the navigation bar.

Wave 2 – This feature is replaced by the back button, by clicking on the back button user can easily navigate to Accounts home grid.

Open/Close Record Set icon has been changed

Change in Queue Item Details

Wave 1 – After clicking on Queue Item Details, the record gets opened in a new window (losing the context)

On click of View Account, it takes the user to the My Account page in Office 365 where they can update profile.
