I am happy that as an administrator it is possible to switch it on and off, but I think what I would like to see is a read-only Kanban board. The reason for this is tasks and opportunities in a lot of projects have complicated processes and enabling this circumvent all the business logic built in Business Process Flow, JavaScript, and Plugins.

Thanks for the feedback. The ability to create activities is configurable, you could choose to disable creation of activities.

As for the ability to move the opportunities across lanes, these are updated using standard sdk procedures and any server side validations that you have in place through workflows or plugins will be honored. Scripts being client side and specific to entity forms will not be applicable.

One of key requirements we have often seen is the need to quickly move records to the next level it could mean simply updating the priority of the record from cold to warm and therefore the ability to update through easy drag and drop.

We have however taken this feedback and recorded it in our systems and will consider it in future.
