{"id":6301,"date":"2017-08-28T17:47:15","date_gmt":"2017-08-28T12:17:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/?p=6301"},"modified":"2022-08-08T10:10:25","modified_gmt":"2022-08-08T04:40:25","slug":"changing-the-title-of-a-custom-signature-tab-in-resco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/changing-the-title-of-a-custom-signature-tab-in-resco\/","title":{"rendered":"Changing the title of a custom Signature tab in Resco"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Introduction:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Resco is amazing, and as we dive deeper, we are amazed at the flexibility the app offers to customize various aspects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Be it a form, view, or a custom tab, the extent to which a particular section can be customized is countless.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This time around, we were impressed by the way Resco allows to change the title of the custom signature tab.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Adding a new Signature tab in Resco:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apart from the signature option that we get while creating a Note, we also have the option of adding a whole new tab for the Signature!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Signature in the Note section:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Change-the-Signature-title-in-Resco-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6294 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Change-the-Signature-title-in-Resco-1.png\" alt=\"Change the Signature title in Resco\" width=\"690\" height=\"253\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Signature as an independent tab:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Change-the-Signature-title-in-Resco-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6295 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Change-the-Signature-title-in-Resco-2.png\" alt=\"Change the Signature title in Resco\" width=\"579\" height=\"77\" \/><\/a><strong><em>To know more about adding a new Signature tab, refer this <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.resco.net\/2016\/03\/02\/signatures-in-resco-mobile-crm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>article<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After adding the Signature tab, we can use it in the same way the Signature is used under the Notes section.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new Signature tab would create a note record with the signature image attached to it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, the title still shows Signature.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Change-the-Signature-title-in-Resco-3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6296 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Change-the-Signature-title-in-Resco-3.png\" alt=\"Change the Signature title in Resco\" width=\"157\" height=\"117\" \/><\/a><strong>Changing the Title of the custom Signature tab in Resco:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can easily modify this default title to a custom title like <strong><em>\u2018Sign Here\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, or maybe something else with <strong><em>\u2018Localizations\u2019.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apart from translating texts to another language,<strong><em> Localizations<\/em><\/strong> can also be used to modify existing items allowing users to be more familiar with the app by using their organization specific vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To change the text <em><strong>&#8216;Signature&#8217;<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0to <strong><em>&#8216;Sign Here&#8217;<\/em>,<\/strong>\u00a0all we have to do is;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1<\/strong>.
