This allows the ease of dealing with work items from the grid area itself. The detailed feature of each button is explained below:<\/p>\n<p>1. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Route<\/strong><\/span>: This button routes the queue item to another queue or another user\/ team. However, in background it actually changes the queue and Work by respectively.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Before clicking on Route<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img112.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-573\" alt=\"img1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img112.jpg\" width=\"692\" height=\"196\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When user clicks on the Route Button for this Queue item, the \u201cRoute Queued Item\u201d window appears which allows the user to route a case to Queue or User\/Team. By Default, Queue option is selected which changes the queue of the Queue Item.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img23.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-574\" alt=\"img2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img23.jpg\" width=\"476\" height=\"239\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>After clicking on Route<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img33.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-575\" alt=\"img3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img33.jpg\" width=\"771\" height=\"193\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you can see in above screenshot, it does not change in the \u201cWorked By\u201d value.<\/p>\n<p>To select\/change Worked By, you can select User\/Team option in the Route window to have a user working on this item. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Due to this, \u201cWorked By\u201d changes as well as the \u201cOwner\u201d of the record in that item<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img43.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-576\" alt=\"img4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img43.jpg\" width=\"456\" height=\"230\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here if you choose \u201cAlso remove the item(s) from the queue\u201d then that queue item will be removed from the list altogether and you will have to add that to queue again\u00a0to appear in the list.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Note<\/strong><\/span>: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">When user\/ team is selected, the\u00a0look-up\u00a0only shows users and not team for selection which may be a bug; whereas after opening the\u00a0queue item, you can edit the Worked By and it shows the option to select either user or team<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>2. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Pick<\/strong><\/span>: Once the Cases have been added to the queue, individual users can Pick up the cases they would be working on. So, here \u201cWorked By\u201d of the Queue Item as well as owner of the record changes to logged in user clicking Pick button.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Before selecting Pick Option<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img53.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-577\" alt=\"img5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img53.jpg\" width=\"878\" height=\"167\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You have option to remove that from queue items here as well<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img63.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-578\" alt=\"img6\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img63.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"254\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>After choosing Pick Option<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img73.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-579\" alt=\"img7\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img73.jpg\" width=\"807\" height=\"266\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Worked By is changed as above and owner is also changed as below:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img82.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-580\" alt=\"img8\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img82.jpg\" width=\"1004\" height=\"189\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Release<\/strong><\/span>: This allows the ability to say that you no longer are working on this item. Due to this, the Worked By will be cleared and the record in the queue item will be assigned to owner of queue so that someone else can Pick that item to work upon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img92.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-581\" alt=\"img9\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img92.jpg\" width=\"398\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Remove<\/strong><\/span>: This option removes the Case from the Queue altogether and you will then be required to add it back to queue using \u201cAdd to queue\u201d option.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img102.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-582\" alt=\"img10\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/img102.jpg\" width=\"452\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Important Points to note<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; If you select more than 2 Queue Items at a time and click on the Route Button then it will simply allow to Route to Queue. It does not show the option to select User\/team.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Also, in Route Option when user tries to Route Queue Item to User\/Team, the Lookup CRM displays and allows only those users who are members of the selected Queue Item\u2019s Queue.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; If you select one or more queue item and click on the Pick Button to pick the Queue Item but if the Current User is not a member of selected Queue Item\u2019s Queue then it does not allow to pick the Queue Item.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<p>This option is available to deal with queue and queue items which makes it easier for the users to work on their allotted jobs in an organized way.
