{"id":4945,"date":"2017-04-07T18:33:43","date_gmt":"2017-04-07T13:03:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/?p=4945"},"modified":"2017-04-07T18:33:43","modified_gmt":"2017-04-07T13:03:43","slug":"solved-issue-with-moving-actions-between-environments-using-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/2017\/04\/solved-issue-with-moving-actions-between-environments-using-solutions\/","title":{"rendered":"[SOLVED] Issue with moving Actions between environments using Solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Issue:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recently, while moving an Action from Dev environment to the Production environment through solutions, we faced an issue of \u201c<strong>Resource not found<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Though the action seems to be imported successfully, it didn\u2019t appear to work and was showing the mentioned error.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Cause:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Further investigating the issue, we came to know the reason behind it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We had created the Action named \u201cApproveAgreement\u201d in the solution whose Publisher was IKL with prefix \u201cikl\u201d as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Siddhesh-Blog-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4940 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Siddhesh-Blog-1.png\" alt=\"Siddhesh Blog 1\" width=\"759\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In that solution, we added the action as shown in the screenshot below;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Siddhesh-Blog-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4942 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Siddhesh-Blog-2.png\" alt=\"Siddhesh Blog 2\" width=\"752\" height=\"311\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now we had to move this action to the UAT environment. So, we created a new solution \u201c<strong>MoveSolution<\/strong>\u201d whose Publisher was the \u201cDefault Publisher\u201d with the Prefix as \u201cnew.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Siddhesh-Blog-3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4943 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Siddhesh-Blog-3.png\" alt=\"Siddhesh Blog 3\" width=\"757\" height=\"294\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When we imported the solution into the UAT Environment, the action was imported successfully. However, the unique name changed from \u201cikl_ApproveAgreement\u201d to \u201cnew_ApproveAgreement\u201d as shown in the screenshot below;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Siddhesh-Blog-4.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4944 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Siddhesh-Blog-4.png\" alt=\"Siddhesh Blog 4\" width=\"759\" height=\"316\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And this was the reason our working had stopped, and we were receiving \u201c<strong>Resource not found<\/strong>\u201d error.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fix:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Make sure that the Publisher while exporting the solution has the same prefix as that was used at the time of creating and publishing the action.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/appsource.microsoft.com\/en-us\/marketplace\/partners\/inogic?tab=Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-4958\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Marketing-Banner-1.jpg\" alt=\"QUICKLY DOWNLOAD OUR PRODUCTIVITY SOLUTIONS FROM MICROSOFT APPSOURCE IN A SINGLE CLICK\" width=\"801\" height=\"99\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Issue: Recently, while moving an Action from Dev environment to the Production environment through solutions, we faced an issue of \u201cResource not found\u201d.
