With this release as well, Microsoft has come up with few more Predefined Actions in the Perform Action step of Workflows. \u201cPerform Action\u201d was introduced in Dynamics CRM 2015 Update 1. For more information, you may refer this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/2015\/06\/custom-actions-in-dynamics-crm-2015\/\">link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Let us see how these new predefined actions work;<\/p>\n<p>Below is the screenshot showing the new Predefined Actions introduced in Dynamics 365.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/12-1024x534.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4041 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/12-1024x534.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"665\" height=\"346\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now we can use the above Predefined Actions in the Processes.<\/p>\n<p>Here we have discussed one of the scenarios where we will show you the implementation of one of the above actions.<\/p>\n<p>Suppose we have to Qualify a Lead based on a Two Option Set, which will be updated programmatically to Yes, and based on it we have to qualify the Lead.<\/p>\n<p>So we are creating a Workflow \u201cLead \u2013 QualifyLead WF\u201d which is triggered when \u201cQualify Lead\u201d is changed as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4046\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/22-1024x596.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"665\" height=\"387\" \/>Now, click on Set Properties and you will see the below screen:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4043\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/31.jpg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"665\" height=\"403\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As you can see, it displays the Properties which we can specify in the \u201c<strong>QualifyLead<\/strong>\u201d request. Set it as per your requirement. Once done, Save and Close it.<\/p>\n<p>The workflow is ready. Just activate it, and then you can test.<\/p>\n<p>We created a record \u201cQualify Lead Testing\u201d in Dynamics CRM and changed the field \u201cQualify Lead\u201d to \u201cYes\u201d.
