It\u2019s not always done \ud83d\ude41 While it would work smoothly on some systems, it would error on others and this was one of the errors we received the last time we tried installing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Error:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cA network error occurred while attempting to read from the file: C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\\UrlRewriteModule\\rewrite_2.0_rtw_x64.msi\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3761 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/1.jpg\" alt=\"UrlRewriteModule error in Dynamics CRM\" width=\"775\" height=\"416\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Solution:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since the requested msi file was missing at the specified location, we downloaded this \u201c<strong>rewrite_2.0_rtw_x64.msi<\/strong>\u201d file from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-in\/download\/confirmation.aspx?id=7435\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-in\/download\/confirmation.aspx?id=7435<\/a> and <strong>copied<\/strong> this file to \u201cC:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\\UrlRewriteModule\u201d folder<\/p>\n<p>Now you can Retry the Dynamics CRM installation.
