Setting up SharePoint and Dynamics 365 CRM Integration in 10 Simple Steps:<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

  1. Click on the Gear<\/strong> icon on the top right corner, then go to Advanced Settings<\/strong>. \"SharePoint<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Go to Settings<\/strong> and choose Document Management. \"SharePoint<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Select \u2018Enable Sever-Based SharePoint Integration\u2019<\/strong> option and click next \"SharePoint<\/a>\n
  4. SharePoint integration can connect to both SharePoint Online <\/strong>or On-Premises<\/strong>. You can select either of them to connect based on your requirements. Here, we will select the online option. If multiple SharePoint sites are used, ensure all sites are of the same deployment type.\n
  5. If you have selected deployment type as Online<\/strong>, you can now copy the URL<\/strong> of the SharePoint site <\/strong>that you want to use from the SharePoint Site main page<\/strong> and paste it below, then click Next to validate the URL.

  6. Once the site is successfully validated, you will have to click on Finish button to complete the Server Based SharePoint Integration.

  7. Now, go back to Settings and choose Document Management Settings<\/strong>.\n
  8. Now select the desired Entities<\/strong> for which you want to enable Document Management. Enter the Active SharePoint site URL <\/strong>where you want to store documents and click Next<\/strong>.\n
  9. If you check the \u2018Based on entity\u2019<\/strong> checkbox, document libraries and folders will be automatically created on the SharePoint site based on the chosen CRM entity. Users will not be prompted to create them.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Suppose you check the \u2018Based-on entity\u2019 <\/strong>checkbox and choose Account entity. \u00a0Document libraries will have Account as the primary folder, and sub-folders will be created based on the actual account names.<\/p>\n

    If you don’t want folders automatically created, do not select the \u2018Based on entity\u2019<\/strong> check box and click on Next <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n

    1. Choose your option and click ‘Next’<\/strong>. We may need to wait briefly now. You’ll notice the status changing as the document libraries are being created. Once that’s done, simply click ‘Finish’.

      Once this is done, you can easily store Files\/Attachments<\/strong> associated with selected Entities<\/strong> on the respective SharePoint sites<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
