Well, Microsoft came up with a provision that takes help from AI to help in these cases; but in some niche cases, the bots usually fail to find the correct answers for you. To overcome this situation, say hello to the <em>Advisors<\/em> feature introduced by Microsoft.<\/p>\n<p>As the name suggests, Advisors let you configure experts in your organizations so that the users can contact them if they are stuck anywhere. As of now, there is no known limitation on the number of advisors that you can configure. Since this feature is still in the preview stage, it is not recommended to use it in production.<\/p>\n<p>To configure the Advisors, we have to add the following \u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internal Resource Links<\/li>\n<li>Advisors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To configure the Power Apps assets (Internal Resource Links &amp; Advisors), follow the below steps \u2013<\/p>\n<p>1. Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Power Platform<\/a> using the admin account.<\/p>\n<p>2. Expand the Resources tab on the left-hand side and click on Power Apps assets.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-33167 alignnone\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/1Power-Apps-assets.jpeg\" alt=\"Power Apps assets\" width=\"200\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. A window will open where we can insert Internal Resources Links. Here, we can configure 3 types of links \u2013<\/p>\n<p>a. Documentation \u2013<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve any internal documentation maintained which is hosted on a central location, you can insert the URL of the same.<\/p>\n<p>b. Teams Group \u2013<\/p>\n<p>If you have an internal Microsoft Teams group, you can provide the URL of the same.<\/p>\n<p>c. Yammer Community \u2013<\/p>\n<p>If you have a Yammer Community for your organization, you can provide the URL of the same.<\/p>\n<p>After the available links are provided, click on the Save button.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-33166\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/2Power-Apps-assets.jpeg\" alt=\"Power Apps assets\" width=\"1102\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4. Now, click on the Advisors tab. Here we can configure all the available advisors in your organizations. You can select from all the users that are present in your organization.<\/p>\n<p>5. Click on Add an advisor.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-33165\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/3Power-Apps-assets.jpeg\" alt=\"Power Apps assets\" width=\"1400\" height=\"448\" \/><\/p>\n<p>6. Select the desired user and click on Add.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-33164\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/4Power-Apps-assets.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"188\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-33163\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/5Power-Apps-assets.jpeg\" alt=\"Power Apps assets\" width=\"475\" height=\"71\" \/><\/p>\n<p>7. Once all the advisors are added, they will look like the one below. In the status column, they will be shown as available or unavailable.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-33162\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/6Power-Apps-assets.jpeg\" alt=\"Power Apps assets\" width=\"1402\" height=\"316\" \/><\/p>\n<p>8. The status will remain unavailable until the advisor logs in to his\/her account and opts into the advisor program.<\/p>\n<p>9. Once the user is added as an advisor, he\/she has to follow the below steps to be shown as an advisor \u2013<\/p>\n<p>a. Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/make.powerapps.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Power Apps Portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>b. They will be asked if they want to opt-in to the organization\u2019s Power Apps advisor program.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-33161\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/7Power-Apps-assets.jpeg\" alt=\"Power Apps assets\" width=\"370\" height=\"429\" \/><\/p>\n<p>c. Click on Yes, I\u2019ll help. Another pop-up will be opened with which they can configure if they want to opt-in and if yes, should be emailed or contacted using teams.
