This post focuses on configuring the SharePoint site within CRM online 2011, integrating the both, uploading documents from with CRM to the SharePoint respective folder. Following are the steps for the same:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">1. To Configure SharePoint, first you need to download List Component for SharePoint Site. You Can download it from http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=5283<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">2. Extract downloaded component, you will see 2 imp Files Namely;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">a) AllowHtcExtn.ps1: This is the Power Shell script, which \u201cAllows\u201d SharePoint to allow users to use *.htc files.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">b) crmlistcomponent.wsp: This is the solution that we will upload to the SharePoint site solution gallery that will enable SharePoint to \u201cSpeak\u201d with CRM. It enables to automatically create a hierarchical folder Structure on SharePoint for CRM Records<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">3. To install List Component in SharePoint, please Click on the \u201cSites\u201d in the homepage of Office 365 and then click on the Settings (Next to your name) &amp;gt;&amp;gt; Site Settings &amp;gt;&amp;gt; Solutions. Please refer below screenshot<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5041 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online1.jpg\" alt=\"integrate SharePoint online\" width=\"550\" height=\"305\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">4. After clicking on the Solutions hyperlink, click on \u201cUpload Solutions\u201d and browse \u201ccrmlistcomponent.wsp\u201d file and click Ok.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5042 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online2.jpg\" alt=\"integration SharePoint online\" width=\"550\" height=\"306\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5. Then select uploaded solution and activate it<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5043 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online3.jpg\" alt=\"integrate SharePoint online Dynamics CRM\" width=\"550\" height=\"346\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">6. You can see status for uploaded solution to Activated in below screenshot<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5044 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online4.jpg\" alt=\"integrate SharePoint Dynamics CRM online\" width=\"550\" height=\"305\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">7. Now create a new record of Default SharePoint Site in Document Management &amp;gt;&amp;gt; SharePoint Sites. Make sure you have installed List Component in Team Site and activated it<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5045 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online5.jpg\" alt=\"integrate SharePoint online\" width=\"550\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">8. Now you can Configure SharePoint site for your CRM by visiting CRM Online Homepage. Please follow this path in CRM online to configure SharePoint site and then click on <b>Settings &amp;gt;&amp;gt; Document Management &amp;gt;&amp;gt; Document Management Settings<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5046 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online6.jpg\" alt=\"integration SharePoint Dynamics CRM online\" width=\"550\" height=\"332\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">9. Select the entities for which you want to add folder locations in SharePoint and add SharePoint Team Site URL in below textbox. Then click Next<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5047 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online7.jpg\" alt=\"integrate SharePoint online7\" width=\"550\" height=\"293\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">10. Ignore Based on Entity Part and Click Next<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online8.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5048 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online8.jpg\" alt=\"integrate SharePoint online\" width=\"490\" height=\"562\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">11. Now you can see the folder locations created for the selected Entities<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online9.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5049 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/integrate-SharePoint-online9.jpg\" alt=\"integrate SharePoint online\" width=\"486\" height=\"589\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">12. You can further check any selected Entity Records to see whether <b>Documents<\/b> is created or not. <b>Note: <\/b>On the First Load it will ask to create Document location for particular record.
