Before this 2016 Update 1 came, we needed some customization to add signatures to email. You may refer this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/2015\/07\/adding-signature-to-emails-in-dynamics-crm\/\">blog<\/a> in order to know how to add signatures to emails in Dynamics CRM.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With release of Dynamics CRM 2016 Update 1, Microsoft has added a new feature of inserting signatures to emails without any customization needed. For this feature, Microsoft has added a new entity named Email Signatures. This entity is seen under Settings-&gt;Templates-&gt;Email Signatures.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/insert-email-signature-in-crm.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2975\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/insert-email-signature-in-crm.png\" alt=\"insert email signature in crm\" width=\"604\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to create an Email Signatures record, following fields should be added:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Owner \u2013 Owner of the record. Either User or Team.<\/li>\n<li>Title \u2013 Name that you want to enter for the record.<\/li>\n<li>Language \u2013 Select language depending upon the languages added in the System.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/new-email-signature-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2976\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/new-email-signature-2.png\" alt=\"new email signature\" width=\"604\" height=\"134\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Email signature language is matched with logged in User language and only those Email signature records whose language match with User language are seen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the body part we can add signature that we want to use.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/email-signature-Dynamics-CRM-3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2973\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/email-signature-Dynamics-CRM-3.png\" alt=\"email signature Dynamics \" width=\"603\" height=\"355\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you want to set the above signature as Default signature for the User you can set it by clicking the Set as Default button.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/set-as-default-signature-4.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2979\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/set-as-default-signature-4.png\" alt=\"set as default signature\" width=\"603\" height=\"161\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Note: Only one Email signature record can be set as default for that user.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After setting this signature as Default when you create a new Email whose sender is selected user, then the signature is automatically populated as you can see below.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/new-email-signature-record-5.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2977\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/new-email-signature-record-5.png\" alt=\"new email signature record\" width=\"603\" height=\"241\" \/><\/a>One User can have multiple Email signatures. We can insert different signature by using Insert Signature button.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/insert-email-signature-6.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2974\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/insert-email-signature-6.png\" alt=\"insert email signature \" width=\"530\" height=\"309\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After clicking the Insert Signature, you can choose the signature you want to use.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/select-signature-7.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2978\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/select-signature-7.png\" alt=\"select signature\" width=\"476\" height=\"342\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Depending upon the selected signature record the corresponding signature will get populated.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Dynamics-CRM-email-signature-8.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2972\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Dynamics-CRM-email-signature-8.png\" alt=\"Dynamics CRM email signature\" width=\"603\" height=\"162\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Note : To insert the image in the signature, it must be hosted somewhere as we need to add URL of the image.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new update for the Dynamics CRM 2016 has multiple advance features.
