Introduction<\/h2>\n

Recently we had a business requirement where we needed to add Dynamics365 Report as a Note <\/strong>of the current entity record in Resco Mobile App. So to achieve this, we followed the below steps:<\/p>\n

1. We added a custom button (i.e.Command) on the Entity Form of the Invoice<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Then we added an \u201cHTML\u201d file (with \u201cJavaScript\u201d code) \u00a0in the \u201cIframe\u201d of Entity Form of Invoice<\/strong> entity in order to bind \u201cClick Event\u201d with the \u201cAdd Report to Note\u201d button.<\/p>\n

3. Then we added the function \u201cdownloadReport\u201d (i.e. for downloading dynamics365 report) in our script as show below,<\/p>\n

5. We then published the Resco Mobile Project and synced the Resco Mobile App with the same and then navigated to the Invoice<\/strong> record and clicked on the \u201cAdd Report in Notes\u201d button (i.e. Custom Command).

6. Once the button is clicked, it took a few seconds to download the \u201cInvoice Report\u201d and then added it to the Notes <\/strong>of the current Invoice <\/strong>record.<\/p>\n

7. Finally, after synchronization of the Note<\/strong> record of the \u201cInvoice Report\u201d, it is added on that Invoice <\/strong>record in Dynamics365.<\/p>\n

Notes: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. We made sure that the Dynamics365 Reports are enabled for Resco Mobile App in the organization.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

2. We also made sure the \u201cNotes\u201d (i.e.Annotation) entity was enabled in Resco Mobile Project and is available on the Entity (i.e. entity for which we are going to use this functionality)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/h2>\n

Technicians can use the \u201cAdd Report as Note\u201d functionality in order to attach Dynamics365 Reports (such as Invoice report) in Notes of the Entity record in Resco Mobile App.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
