With Resco Mobile App<\/strong>, we now have the ability to show a specific form of an entity. The Resco Mobile App<\/strong> provides the feature of \u2018Select Form\u2019<\/strong> to control which form should be displayed based on a condition. Often the use case is that a type (e.g. Option Set) has a dedicated form which should be shown when the type is set.<\/p>\n

So, let\u2019s take a look at how we can show the form based on a condition:<\/p>\n

We have added 2 forms on Account<\/strong> entity, one is \u2018Default\u2019<\/strong> and another is \u2018Customer\u2019<\/strong> form as shown in the below screenshot<\/p>\n

In our case, we want to show the \u2018Customer Form\u2019<\/strong> if the \u2018Relationship Type\u2019<\/strong> field value is set as \u2018Customer\u2019<\/strong> on Account, otherwise, we want to show the \u2018Default\u2019<\/strong> form.<\/p>\n

We can see the \u2018Select Form\u2019<\/strong> rule button is available on the toolbar of an Account<\/strong> entity, as you can see in the screenshot below<\/p>\n

Click on the \u2018Select Form’<\/strong> button and add the rule to control which form should be displayed based on a condition. In the form rule, by using the \u2018FormName\u2019<\/strong> option we can have the ability to select the specific form from the list of forms.<\/p>\n

Refer to the below screenshot for the same<\/p>\n

\"form<\/a>Save & Close<\/strong> the rule. After saving and closing the rule, we can see \u2018Form Select Rule\u2019<\/strong> is added in the list of\u00a0Mobile Views, Forms and Charts.<\/p>\n

After publishing the changes, when the technician will open an Account<\/strong> record having the \u2018Relationship Type = Customer\u2019<\/strong>, the \u2018Customer\u2019 <\/strong>form will be shown, otherwise, the \u2018Default\u2019<\/strong> form will be shown as shown in the below screenshots<\/p>\n
