Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new enhanced calendar control\u00a0(Calendar Control V2<\/strong>) provides productive and intuitive ways to manage tasks across the team, provides sellers a\u00a0peace of mind knowing that team tasks are organized, prioritized, and delivered.<\/p>\n

By adding a new\u00a0calendar control (Calendar Control V2) to an entity, user can see all records in a calendar view. User can view, create, and delete entity records in a day, week, or month view. And it can be added to any entity.<\/p>\n

But by default, records are displayed in a read-only grid. However, when the\u00a0Calendar Control V2<\/strong>\u00a0control is added to an entity and the view is changed to the calendar view; records associated with the entity will be displayed in an interactive calendar.<\/p>\n

Add Calendar control to entities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. In the app, select the Settings <\/b>icon, and then select\u00a0Advanced Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. On select, the Business Management<\/strong>page opens in a new browser tab.<\/p>\n

3. On the navigation bar, select Settings<\/strong> and then under\u00a0Customization<\/strong>, select\u00a0Customizations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4. Select Customize the System<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

5. Under Components <\/strong>in the solution explorer, expand\u00a0Entities<\/strong>, and then select an entity.<\/p>\n

For example,\u00a0Activity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6. On the Controls <\/strong>tab, select\u00a0Add Control<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7. In the\u00a0Add Control <\/strong>dialog\u00a0box, select\u00a0Calendar Control V2<\/strong>, and then select\u00a0Add<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

8. The calendar control is added to the list of controls.<\/p>\n

9. Select the edit icon for each of the mandatory fields and then select the binding values.<\/p>\n

Start Date: Select the field based on which you want to display \u2018Start Date\u2019 of record.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0E.g. \u2018Start Date (scheduledstart)\u2019 field.<\/em><\/p>\n

Description: Select field to show as a description in the calendar view.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. \u2018Subject (subject)\u2019 field.<\/em><\/p>\n

End Date: Select the field based on which you want to display \u2018End Date\u2019 of record.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. \u2018End Date (scheduledend)\u2019 field.<\/em><\/p>\n

10. Select Save <\/strong>to save your changes and Publish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Switch to the new calendar view<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The calendar view is made available when the calendar control is added to an entity view. To switch to the new calendar view, follow the steps given below:<\/p>\n

1. In the site map, select Activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. On the command bar, select the More commands <\/strong>icon, and then select\u00a0Show As<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0Calendar Control V2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 On select, the activities will get displayed in the new calendar view.<\/p>\n

From the navigation bar of the calendar, select any of the below view to see the records in calendar views:<\/p>\n
