Everyone wants to deliver their business application to their customers with rich context, videos, walkthroughs, articles etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLearning path\u201d is a tool available in D365 which will help us to strengthen user engagement on D365. By providing them a guided instructions\/hints the way in which user should explore the application and be productive enough while learning the application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By enabling this feature in D365 you can create your own learning path content for your users which will be more informative for users while exploring your business. Also, this functionality provides contextual help which enforce a user to follow a specific process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this blog, we will have walkthrough of \u201cLearning Path\u201d configuration. Before configuring the \u201cLearning Path\u201d tool, let\u2019s have a look on below pre-requisite:<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Pre-requisite<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cLearning Path Authoring\u201d must be enabled under the system setting<\/li>\n<li>We <strong>cannot <\/strong>use \u201cCustomizable help\u201d feature and \u201cLearning Path\u201d feature at a time in same organization, so make sure only either of this is enable at a time in the organization.<\/li>\n<li>User who want to use \u201cLearning Path\u201d must be <strong>\u201cOpt In<\/strong>\u201d for Learning Path under their user options setting<\/li>\n<li>User must have \u201c<strong>System Administrator<\/strong>\u201d or \u201c<strong>System Customizer<\/strong>\u201d role to have access for \u201cLearning Path\u201d content library<\/li>\n<li>User who want to customize the \u201cLearning Path\u201d must be a member of the <strong>\u201cOffice 365 Learning Path Authors Security Group\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Configuration Steps<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>1<\/strong>. Go to your System Settings by navigating to <strong>Settings-&gt; Administration<\/strong>, On Administration page click on <strong>System Setting<\/strong>. Change \u2018Enable Learning Path\u2019 and \u2018Enable Learning Path Authoring\u2019 from No to Yes.\u00a0As shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15189\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Configuring-Learning-Path-feature-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Configuring Learning Path feature in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"937\" height=\"437\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2<\/strong>. Now, Opt In for learning path under <strong>User Setting<\/strong>, by default this setting is on. User is Opt In means user would like to have facility of using learning path throughout the system.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Note: As you can see \u201cOpt Out for Learning Path\u201d option below, user can anytime opt out and discontinue with learning path facility. User is Opt out means user will no longer receive the hints\/videos throughout the system. As user have gained the enough knowledge of system and further assistance not needed.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 180px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15181\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/2Configuring-Learning-Path-feature-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Configuring Learning Path feature in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"305\" height=\"282\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3<\/strong>.\u00a0Now, under Training section try to open the Content Library, you would not be able to do so as still you have <strong>not<\/strong> added yourself into \u201cOffice 365 Learning Path Authors Security Group\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15182\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/3Configuring-Learning-Path-feature-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Configuring Learning Path feature in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"1003\" height=\"254\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you click on Content Library you would be prompted with the below error message:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15183\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/4Configuring-Learning-Path-feature-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Configuring Learning Path feature in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"888\" height=\"316\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So for accessing the Content Library, CRM user must be a part of \u201cLearning Path Author Security Group\u201d first, navigate to Admin Center select Groups under groups select \u201cLearning Path Author Security Group\u201d and add the user as member of \u201cLearning Path Author Security Group\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2>Follow below simple steps:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>. Navigate to Admin Center, Click on Groups<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15184\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/5Configuring-Learning-Path-feature-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Configuring Learning Path feature in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"817\" height=\"448\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2<\/strong>.\u00a0On the Groups page, select the \u201cLearning Path Authors\u201d group, Click on Edit button under \u201cMembers\u201d row as below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15185\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/6Configuring-Learning-Path-feature-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Configuring Learning Path feature in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"1345\" height=\"477\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3<\/strong>.\u00a0By clicking on \u201cAdd Members\u201d you can add the user as below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15186\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/7Configuring-Learning-Path-feature-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Configuring Learning Path feature in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"1167\" height=\"492\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15187\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/8Configuring-Learning-Path-feature-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Configuring Learning Path feature in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"1286\" height=\"478\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Note: All the users who are present in \u201cLearning Path Authors\u201d group, would have ability to edit the Learning Path Content in the Content Library.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u00a04<\/strong><em>.\u00a0<\/em> Navigate to Training, Content Library. After a few minutes, you should see the following page, from this page you can add your own guided tasks \u201cGuided Task\u201d or \u201cSidebar\u201d depend upon your choice.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15188\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/9Configuring-Learning-Path-feature-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Configuring Learning Path feature in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"1340\" height=\"444\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Note: Be patient while loading the content library as it takes few minutes to load.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLearning Path\u201d helps to train our valuable users on how to use\u00a0even a hugely customized system on the web and tablet application, with simple hints and videos user get throughout knowledge of \u201chow to use the application\u201d without relying on anyone.
