One good feature provided in Field Service is \u201cCopy Agreement\u201d button on Agreement. Once you know that the Agreement is expired, you can click on \u201cCopy Agreement\u201d and select the options you want the details to be copied on the new copied agreement. This would help reduce the time consumption.<\/p>\n<p>So let\u2019s see the process of Copying Agreement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>. Navigate to Agreement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2<\/strong>. By default the Start Date is set as the End date of previous agreement. The Duration between Start Date and End Date is same as that of the previous agreement.<\/p>\n<p>You can change the start Date and End date.<\/p>\n<p>You can set the previous agreement as the \u201cOriginating Agreement\u201d on the copied agreement, this would help to keep a track of the details of the previous agreement.<\/p>\n<p>You can also copy the \u201cBooking Setups\u201d, \u201cBooking Incidents\u201d, \u201cBooking Service Tasks\u201d, \u201cBooking Products\/Services\u201d, \u201cInvoice Setups\u201d and \u201cInvoice Products.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So in our example, let\u2019s keep every options as \u201cYes\u201d on the popup appeared on click of \u201cCopy Agreements\u201d button on Agreement.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14923\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/5Copy-Agreement-ribbon-button-on-Agreement-entity-in-Dynamics-365-for-Field-Service.png\" alt=\"Copy Agreement ribbon button on Agreement entity in Dynamics 365 for Field Service\" width=\"822\" height=\"712\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once you click on Ok, the message appears as \u201cCopy completed. Would you like to see the agreement?\u201d with \u201cYes\u201d and \u201cNo\u201d button.<\/p>\n<p>Once click on \u201cYes\u201d, open the new copied agreement and you can see the \u201cOriginating Agreement\u201d populated.<\/p>\n<p>Refer the below screenshots regarding the new copied agreement.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14924\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/6Copy-Agreement-ribbon-button-on-Agreement-entity-in-Dynamics-365-for-Field-Service.png\" alt=\"Copy Agreement ribbon button on Agreement entity in Dynamics 365 for Field Service\" width=\"1291\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Originating Agreement is populated on the copied new agreement.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14925\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/7Copy-Agreement-ribbon-button-on-Agreement-entity-in-Dynamics-365-for-Field-Service.png\" alt=\"Copy Agreement ribbon button on Agreement entity in Dynamics 365 for Field Service\" width=\"827\" height=\"496\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You can use the \u201cCopy Agreement\u201d button when the agreement needs to be renewed once the agreement is expired. On click of \u201cCopy Agreement\u201d button, no need to fill in the details again, just click yes for the data that needs to be copied from original expired agreement to a new copied agreement.
