Data within CDS for Apps is stored within a set of entities. Whether your data is stored in spreadsheets, databases, or other systems, you\u2019ll probably want an easy way to transfer large data in your environment. Using import data feature in CDS, you can easily add data in CDS.<\/p>\n<p>You can use two ways to import data in CDS.<\/p>\n<p>1. Get data<\/p>\n<p>2. Get Data from Excel<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14542\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/1Common-Data-Service.png\" alt=\"Common Data Service\" width=\"818\" height=\"217\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This blog gives you information about how using <strong>Get data<\/strong> option, you can import data in CDS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>. Get data:<\/p>\n<p>Click on <strong>Get data<\/strong> and below window will open. Select the organizational account in <strong>Authentication kind<\/strong>. At a time you can import multiple Text\/CSV, for that click on \u201cGet data\u201d and follow same process from the start and click on Next.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6<\/strong>. Map Entities page gets opened where you can select <strong>Load to existing entity<\/strong> option and select an entity, like here account entity is selected.<\/p>\n<p>Then in <strong>Field Mapping<\/strong> section select the column of sheet by the name that you gave in excel sheet.
