Introduction<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n

Recently while working in Dynamics 365, we noticed that autocomplete functionality is not working on UCI but it is working properly on the Web. So after some research and play around we found a solution for this problem to show the list of entities. \u00a0Let\u2019s see how!<\/p>\n

There is one control named \u201cCC_EntityOptionSet_Name\u201d<\/strong>, by using this control we can show the list of entities on UCI, Phone and Tablet.<\/p>\n

Let us see an example to understand how we can add Control (<\/strong>CC_EntityOptionSet_Name<\/strong>) to a field for an entity list;<\/p>\n

In the following example, we want to add the CC_EntityOptionSet_Name <\/strong>Control to a custom string field, \u2018Entity Name\u2019 on the Account entity.<\/p>\n

1. We will first add a string field as \u2018Entity Name\u2019 on the Account entity form and click on Change Properties;<\/p>\n

2. We will now add the \u2018CC_EntityOptionSet_Name<\/strong>\u2019 control,<\/p>\n

3. To use this control, select all options as shown below to show the list of entities on UCI, Phone and Tablet<\/p>\n

On the Dynamics 365 UCI, Mobile and Tablet app, user can now select the particular entity name from the list of entities as seen below;<\/p>\n

The CC<\/strong>_EntityOptionSet<\/strong>_Name<\/strong> Control filters a list as an option set and allows you to select a value from the drop-down list rather than typing whole text.
