In the user roles we didn\u2019t find this specific privilege. Hence, we removed the \u201cAppendTo\u201d privilege from the opportunity entity for the role of those users who are not allowed to close opportunities.<\/span><br \/><span><\/span><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_pMlyDuF-ngc\/TAOwmFCOA3I\/AAAAAAAAAbk\/AcYmBwKu0V0\/s1600\/11.jpg\"><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_pMlyDuF-ngc\/TAOwmFCOA3I\/AAAAAAAAAbk\/AcYmBwKu0V0\/s400\/11.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/span><\/a><span> <\/span><span>Thereafter, whenever that user tries to close an opportunity for which he does not have permission, he would get the following message of \u201cInsufficient permissions\u201d<\/span><br \/><span><\/span><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_pMlyDuF-ngc\/TAOwlykDdVI\/AAAAAAAAAbc\/dgf5aw1wGbA\/s1600\/12.jpg\"><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_pMlyDuF-ngc\/TAOwlykDdVI\/AAAAAAAAAbc\/dgf5aw1wGbA\/s400\/12.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/span><\/a><span><strong>Note<\/strong>: Having done the above privilege changes, this particular user would not be able to associate any type of activities with opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In our organization, we wanted that some of our users should not be allowed to close an opportunity.
