Until Dynamics 365 8.2 version, there was no direct relationship between Order Line and Invoice Line. But, in a recent update we found that there is 1: N relationship between Order Line and Invoice Line.<\/p>\n<p>Please see the below screenshot for the relationship between Order Line and Invoice Line:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-13390\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/1Relationship-between-Order-Line-and-Invoice-Line-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Relationship between Order Line and Invoice Line in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"822\" height=\"567\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s take an example:<\/p>\n<p>Suppose, we need to map a custom field while creating Invoice Line from Order Line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>. We created a custom field as Invoice Type (Option set) with options <strong>Standard Invoice, Commercial Invoice and Progress Invoice <\/strong>on both the entities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2<\/strong>. Now, in the mapping section of the relationship we have mapped the Invoice Type field as shown in below screenshot:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-13391 \" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/2Relationship-between-Order-Line-and-Invoice-Line-in-Dynamics-365-CRM.png\" alt=\"Relationship between Order Line and Invoice Line in Dynamics 365 CRM\" width=\"824\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3<\/strong>. Now let\u2019s create order with order line and select account in customer field in Order Line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4<\/strong>. Create invoice by clicking on <strong>Create Invoice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5<\/strong>.
