So in this blog we will discuss about new action buttons in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Table Client, which allows user to Qualify Lead and Close the Opportunity as Won or Lost on dashboard itself.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Qualify lead on Dashboard<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As you can see in the below screenshot, Earlier in v8.0 there was no provision\u00a0in Dynamics 365 Mobile &amp; Tablet App to qualify the lead on dashboard.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10992\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"325\" height=\"553\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is possible in v9.0. To achieve this, login to Dynamics 365 App on mobile or tablet. After logging into the App you will see the home page with dashboard (by default) as seen in the screenshot below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10993\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App1.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"325\" height=\"558\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Navigate to Open Leads grid on dashboard and select the record by clicking on \u201c\u2026\u201d icon i.e. the more options. The following options are displayed:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10994\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App2.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"326\" height=\"557\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We will see the new option is added with name \u201c<strong>Qualify<\/strong>\u201d as shown in above screenshot.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here, we will qualify the Lead \u201cAlex Wu\u201d by clicking on <strong>Qualify<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the background, Lead gets qualified and converted to Opportunity and is no more available in the Open Lead grid as seen in the below screenshot:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10995\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App3.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"325\" height=\"556\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Close Opportunity as Won or Lost through Dashboard:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Similarly, User can Close opportunity as Won or Lost on dashboard itself.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier in v8.0 there was no option available in Dynamics 365 Mobile\/Tablet App to Close the Opportunity as Won or Lost on dashboard as seen in below screenshot:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10996\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App4.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"324\" height=\"551\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is now possible in Dynamics 365 v9.0 mobile &amp; Tablet Client, for this Navigate to the Open Opportunity grid on Dashboard as below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10997\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App5.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"327\" height=\"554\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now here, we will select the Opportunity that is created when we qualified the Lead \u201cAlex Wu\u201d. To Close the opportunity click on \u201c\u2026\u201d icon i.e. the more options. The two new options i.e<strong>. Close as Lost<\/strong> and <strong>Close as Won<\/strong> options are displayed along with the existing options as shown in below screenshot:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10998\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App6.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"326\" height=\"574\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Click of \u201c<strong>Close as Won<\/strong>\u201d option the Close opportunity window will appear as below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10999\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App7.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"324\" height=\"561\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Verify the auto populated details and click on \u201cOK\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The opportunity will get closed as won and will no longer be available in the open opportunity grid on dashboard as seen below:<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11005\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App81.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"325\" height=\"562\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the opportunity can be Closed as Lost by selecting the Close as Lost Option.<\/p>\n<p>Here, I will select another open opportunity \u201cAudio Equipment\u201d and select \u201c<strong>Close as Lost<\/strong>\u201d option by clicking on \u201c\u2026\u201d icon i.e. More options.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11006\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App91.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"322\" height=\"576\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Click of \u201cClose as Lost\u201d option, Close Opportunity window will appear as below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11007\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App101.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"321\" height=\"556\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select the appropriate Status reason and verify the auto populated details and Click on \u201cOK\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The opportunity will get closed as Lost and will no longer be available in the open opportunity grid on dashboard as seen below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11008\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/New-Actions-buttons-on-Dashboard-Records-in-Dynamics-365-v9.0-Mobile-Tablet-App111.png\" alt=\"New Actions buttons on Dashboard Records in Dynamics 365 v9.0 Mobile &amp; Tablet App\" width=\"324\" height=\"557\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Similarly, for Case entity the new actions available in Dynamics 365 Mobile &amp; Tablet App are as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>1<\/strong>. Do not decrement entitlement terms<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>2<\/strong>. Apply routing rule<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>3<\/strong>. Cancel Case<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>4<\/strong>.
