Now in this blog, you will learn all about Event based alerts.<\/p>\n<p>Event Based Alerts are created on the trigger of an event. For example, when a Quote is activated an alert will be created, when a Lead is qualified an alert will be created and so on.<\/p>\n<p>To create Event Based Alert go to <strong>Alerts4Dynamics App <\/strong>&#8211;&gt; <strong>Alerts <\/strong>&#8211;&gt;<strong>\u00a0New. <\/strong>Select <strong>Alert Type <\/strong>as <strong>Event Based.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22945\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"797\" height=\"356\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_1.png 797w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_1-300x134.png 300w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_1-768x343.png 768w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_1-660x295.png 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 797px) 100vw, 797px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After the type of Alert is selected, in <strong>Entity Configuration<\/strong> select the entity for which you are trying to create Alert and Save.<\/p>\n<p>After the Alert is created you can add a message associated with it in <strong>New Message <\/strong>tab. To know how to add<strong> New Message <\/strong>skip to <a href=\"#_Message\"><strong>Message<\/strong><\/a> section.<\/p>\n<p>After the Message is added for the Alert, you need to define the triggering point at which the Notification would be created.<\/p>\n<p>For this we need to define a Workflow. Please follow these steps to create a workflow.<\/p>\n<p>Go to <strong>Advanced<\/strong> <strong>Settings<\/strong> &#8211;&gt;<strong>Settings<\/strong> &#8211;&gt; <strong>Processes<\/strong> &#8211;&gt; <strong>New.<\/strong> In <strong>Create Process <\/strong>enter <strong>Process name. <\/strong>As we are creating event to trigger on status change of Lead, we enter the name <strong>OnChange of Lead Status.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22946\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"643\" height=\"487\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_2.png 643w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_2-300x227.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 643px) 100vw, 643px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The fields are as following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Process Name:<\/strong> Name of the Workflow.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category:<\/strong> Workflow<\/li>\n<li><strong>Entity:<\/strong> Entity on whose event trigger the Notification will start getting created.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Type:<\/strong> New blank process<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Click on OK.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22947\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1180\" height=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_3.png 1180w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_3-300x178.png 300w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_3-768x456.png 768w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_3-1024x607.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_3-660x392.png 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1180px) 100vw, 1180px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will land on the Workflow window. Here you can define the event for which Workflow will trigger. Select the <strong>Scope<\/strong> as <strong>Organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now, define the condition on which the Workflow will trigger. Select any one or multiple <strong>Start when <\/strong>conditions for your workflow<strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Record is created:<\/strong> Trigger the workflow when record is created.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Record status changes:<\/strong> Trigger the workflow when the Status of record is changed for e.g. Opportunity is Won.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Record is assigned:<\/strong> Trigger the workflow when record is assigned to some other user.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Records field change:<\/strong> Trigger the workflow when record\u2019s field is changed for eg. description field is altered.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Record is deleted:<\/strong> Trigger the workflow when record is deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Now add the steps of Workflow:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1: <\/strong>Add the assembly <strong>Inogic.Alerts4Dynamics.Workflows(1.0.0.0) -&gt;<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Inogic.Alerts4Dynammics.Workflows.OnDemandNotification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22948\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"743\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_4.png 743w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_4-300x85.png 300w, https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Event_4-660x187.png 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 743px) 100vw, 743px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2: <\/strong>Click on<strong> Set Properties. <\/strong>On clicking <strong>Set Properties<\/strong>, would open up the below window.
