You can create a workflow for any required entity and don\u2019t have to go through the steps again and again. It saves time and effort. Now, let\u2019s go through the step-by-step process of creating a workflow.<\/p>\n

1<\/strong>. To create a workflow, go to Advanced Settings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Use<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Navigate to Settings <\/strong>\u2192<\/strong> Processes<\/strong>. Click New <\/strong>to create a new workflow.<\/p>\n

\"Use<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong>\u00a0Enter the Process Name<\/strong>, select the Category <\/strong>as Workflow <\/strong>and Entity <\/strong>for which you want to create this workflow. Click on\u00a0OK.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong>\u00a0Here you can select whether you want the Workflow to be On<\/strong> Demand<\/strong> (to be manually invoked) or trigger on a change of Options for Automatic<\/strong> Processes<\/strong>. Set the scope of the Workflow as organization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> Go to Select and select a parameter on whose change the workflow should trigger. Here we have selected Quote Discount<\/strong> as that parameter. With change in Quote Discount<\/strong> a workflow will trigger.<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong>\u00a0First user needs to click on \u2018Add Step\u2019<\/strong> and add Perform Action<\/strong> step that is predefined by Microsoft to select the appropriate Action for required word template.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0Select Action<\/strong> as SetWordTemplate<\/strong> option and Entity<\/strong> as None (global)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

8.<\/strong>\u00a0Now click on \u2018Set Properties\u2019<\/strong> of Perform Action<\/strong> step and select the required Word Template<\/strong> in SelectedTemplate<\/strong> section and required Entity<\/strong> in Target<\/strong> Click on Save and Close<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

9.<\/strong>\u00a0Click2Export ships with one workflow assembly namely Click2Export.ExportWord.ExportWord2PDF. <\/strong>This step is required to call the workflow for performing the selected action.<\/p>\n

10.<\/strong>\u00a0Now click on Set Properties<\/strong> for Inogic.Click2Export.ExportWord.ExportWord2PDF<\/strong><\/p>\n

11.<\/strong> Now on the Document Template <\/strong>select required template from the drop down options. In CRM Report Template select the required \u2018CRM Word Template\u2019<\/strong> for the selected entity. User can select the required action i.e. Attach as a Note, Attach to an Email <\/strong>or Upload to SharePoint<\/strong> as True<\/strong> for performing the workflow accordingly and click on \u2018Save and Close\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

12.<\/strong>\u00a0Now \u2019Save\u2019 <\/strong>and then \u2018Activate\u2019 <\/strong>the process.<\/p>\n

\"Use<\/p>\n

13.<\/strong>\u00a0You can now see the workflow in \u2018My Processes\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Use<\/p>\n

Any future change in the triggering field will invoke a Workflow.<\/p>\n

Once the workflow is configured and triggered the process will start. You can create different workflows for different entities as per your requirement and export the data into word documents for further study.<\/p>\n
