One of the functionality of Set References is to update records by Workflow. In this blog we are going to cover how using a workflow we can easily update Cloned records whenever there is some alteration in business requirement.<\/p>\n<p>Below is the process how to Clone records using workflows.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>. Click2Clone now supports cloning with workflows. To create a workflow, navigate to <strong>Settings &gt; Processes <\/strong>and click on <strong>New <\/strong>to create a new workflow.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14620\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/1Click2Clone-Workflow.png\" alt=\"Creating Click2Clone Workflow\" width=\"1120\" height=\"448\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2<\/strong>. Enter the <strong>Process Name<\/strong>, select the <strong>Category <\/strong>as <strong>Workflow<\/strong>and <strong>Entity <\/strong>for which you want to create this workflow. Click2Clone ships with workflow assembly <strong>Click2Clone.Automation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5<\/strong>. With the Second assembly <strong>Click2Clone.Automation.DeepCloneRecords <\/strong>users can deep clone related records for example, Order with Order line items along with Invoice and Invoice line items.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14628\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/9Click2Clone-Workflow.png\" alt=\"Creating Click2Clone Workflow\" width=\"1120\" height=\"508\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8<\/strong>. After you select this assembly, click on <strong>Set Properties <\/strong>for <strong>Inogic.Click2Clone.Automation.DeepCloneRecords. <\/strong>Then select the <strong>Click2Clone Template<\/strong> for the Entity for which the workflow is created and click on <strong>Save and Close<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14629\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/10Click2Clone-Workflow.png\" alt=\"Creating Click2Clone Workflow\" width=\"1120\" height=\"287\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>9<\/strong>. Now <strong>Save <\/strong>and then <strong>Activate <\/strong>the process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10<\/strong>. Users can also do needful updates in the cloned record. With the help of workflow, the user can access the cloned record for further operations. Thus, the users can update the cloned record.
